Kammaleathahh is a North Carolina licensed and Nationally Certified Massage and Bodywork Therapist. She received her training from Natural Touch School of Massage Therapy in Greensboro. Prior to being a massage therapist, Kammaleathahh graduated from Guilford College with a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology and Peace and Conflict Studies.

She currently coordinates the Touch of Wellbeing in collaboration with the Center for New North Carolinian’s Thriving at Three program. Touch of Wellbeing provides instruction on infant massage and self massage as well as monthly massage for Latina mothers. This program exposes these women to massage in a way that is safe and comfortable, but also therapeutic and relaxing.

Kammaleathahh has received advanced training in infant, fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum massage and she will soon be a certified infant massage instructor. She has been trained as a Doula through the YWCA, and works with teen moms. A Doula is someone who offers emotional and physical support to a woman during labor.

Her focus is to offer massage therapy as one part of an individual’s healthcare. Whether for one session or through a series of treatments, Kammaleathahh works with her clients to design a massage session that will help meet the specific goals they have for their bodies.

Miriam Biber

Miriam has a certificate in Holistic Health Counseling from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, a program in partnership with Columbia University’s Teacher’s College. She is certified by the American Association for Drugless Practitioners. She is a graduate of Guilford College where she received a BA in Women’s Studies and Religious Studies. She has worked with various non-profit organizations working with issues of spirituality and social justice. Currently, she also works part-time with Earth Share of North Carolina, an organization raising funds for over 50 environmental non-profit organizations.

Miriam emphasizes a non-judgmental approach to health counseling, a perfect combination of being sensitive to the client’s situation and needs and yet giving them a gentle push when they need it. Alongside her coaching, Miriam educates each client around issues of nutrition and cooking. She does not work with food related issues only, but also looks at the client’s life in a holistic manner. She helps clients make the connection between their health and their relationships, profession, spirituality and physical activity, which in the end makes one’s life more sustainable.

    She teaches various forms of meditation and contemplative practices and I have found it to be an important part of mylife.
